Al-Shouneh Al-Wusta Municipality Mayor
The preparation of the Strategic Plan for Al-Shouneh Al-Wusta Municipality comes in line with the national vision to achieve sustainable local development and to enhance community participation in identifying priorities and needs.
Through this plan, the municipality aims to establish a clear roadmap for the coming years, focusing on improving public services, developing infrastructure, and utilizing available resources efficiently to achieve comprehensive development.
The plan was prepared in cooperation with the Municipal Support Program implemented by the Ministry of Local Administration, funded by the European Union, and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The process included analyzing the local context, reviewing challenges and opportunities, and setting measurable and achievable strategic goals.
We highly appreciate the efforts of all participants — employees, community members, and partners — in developing this plan. The municipality remains committed to implementing it to achieve the desired development and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
